The Faculty of Engineering offers three majors: Computer & Communication Engineering (CCE), Mechanical Engineering (MCE) and Mechatronics Engineering (MEE). It is known for high-quality academic programs and responsive community outreach activities. The faculty prepares students to succeed in a competitive work place through focusing on a multidisciplinary approach to teaching and problem solving as well as designing programs that give students the required skills to excel in their careers. Engineers are creative problem solvers and their role is linked closely to the needs of society. Therefore, the faculty is keen to build sustainable relations with the industry.
Throughout their years at the university, the faculty always make sure to provide the students with a transformative education in order to help them transform their lives, their families and their communities. Encouraging graduates to stay connected to the faculty in as many ways as possible is one of the main objectives, so as to expand the network of the engaged alumni who share their knowledge and experience with the students and graduates of tomorrow.
