Founded in 2000, AUL has grown to become one of Lebanon's most respected universities, offering a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs across multiple faculties.
AUL is an institution of higher education founded to provide student-centered learning experience through the provision of innovative and responsive education programs that are affordable and accessible, and to prepare well–rounded graduates equipped with theoretical and practical skills that create significant economic and social value. AUL was established under the Lebanese Presidential Decree Number 3585/2000, with a vision to provide quality education in arts, sciences, and technology.
The university expanded its programs and campuses under Presidential Decree Number 674/2007, introducing new faculties and modern facilities.
