AUL's research strategy places quality research at the center of institutional development, with the goal of producing knowledge that advances theory and application, strengthens academic programs, and informs professional and industry practice.

A Central Research Plan Committee provides oversight for implementation, receives progress reports, assesses individual initiatives, periodically reviews the research plan, and recommends revisions where needed.
Approve the institutional research plan and align faculty and departmental plans.
Receive progress reports and assess delivery against strategic initiatives and actions.
