AUL is ranked in the 10th position among the 20 universities operating in Beirut and in the 14th position among the 35 universities operating in Lebanon by EduRank for the year 2025.

Main Objectives / Goals:

- Analyzing and developing the current University programs in light of the current and future trends in the academic circle.
- Introducing new degrees, in both existing and new majors, which allow the University to be more involved in developing higher education locally, regionally, and internationally, so as to meet the growing needs of both the community and labor market.
- Developing all kinds of research at the University in order to satisfy both current and prospective community needs.
- Adopting the “Quality Assurance” policy as a platform for the development of the culture of quality at the University and all its branches so as to be compatible with the requirements of “Accreditation” which is much needed in the international academic community.
- Developing the University’s relationships with the leading universities in Lebanon and beyond, as this is crucial to support the University with human, technical, and financial resources.
- Developing the administrative perspective of the University in order to promote the pedagogical effort to improve overall performance with special focus on censorship, accountability, responsibility, transparency, and recognition.
- Developing the existing buildings at the University in order to support the educational objective for which they were built.
- Using financial plans to ensure a more effective implementation of the academic strategic planning.
STRATEGIC PLAN
2025-2030
The AUL has designed its Strategic Plan 2025-2030 which was the result of an in-depth strategic planning process over three years. At the dawn of AUL’s 25 years, the time was right to start implementing substantive, systemic developments that would enforce the position of the University for even greater leaps in the future. Numerous university-wide and faculty-level initiatives were launched and realized over the years let alone the major developments in curriculums.
These initiatives fit within the current strategic plan directions and lay a firm foundation for the implementation of the University 2030 vision, its goals, objectives, and strategies.
The AUL Strategic Plan 2025-2030 focuses on key areas, starting with explanation of the planning progress, followed by key foundational information (mission, vision, values), then what the University wants to achieve (goals, objectives, strategic issues), then how the University will achieve these goals (strategies, actions, tactics), and lastly how to measure overall success (KPIs, metrics). The plan shall demonstrate Core Strategic Themes that cover significant disciplines such as:

The world is changing every moment, and life dynamizes growing fast.
Nowadays, we live the fourth technological revolution, as well the artificial intelligence which offer new possibilities and increase in production capabilities. Which pave the way for better job opportunities and better education.
What requires is better innovated methods to see the world around us and deal seriously with it that would lead to a deep changing in the economical, social and pedagogical dimensions; in addition, to flexible dealing with the world changes in the fields of knowledge and technology.
Arts, Sciences and Technology University (AUL) in Lebanon is working hard on implementing an educational plan whose philosophy is based on Man respect and distinguished education to upraise its importance and have a worthy position among other qualified universities.
A philosophy based on sedate, academic reputation and on spreading knowledge as to build the human in favor of the society and scientific research. It Is impossible to prepare scholastic Curriculums that will adhere to the present time unless new go back to the concepts and principles and apply them.
