In rapidly evolving fields like Computer Science, a major challenge is to be
updated in these changing and developing fields. Over the years, the
Computer Science department at AUL has experienced tremendous growth
in its faculty, research programs and research facilities. We are very proud
of the unique branding of our academic programs, practical and flexible with
lasting foundational knowledge, matching well with the needs of today's
information technology driven society.
The Bachelor of Science Degree Program in Computer Science focuses on
study of computers and computational systems: their theory, design,
development, and application. Principal areas within computer science
include artificial intelligence, computer systems and networks, database
systems, numerical analysis, programming languages, software
engineering, and theory of computing.
Design, implement, upgrade and troubleshoot a computer network.
The Bachelor of Science Degree Program in Information Communication
Technology focuses on applying system administration tasks and good
practices, namely to install, configure and troubleshoot operating systems
(software and hardware), and establishing custom network and system
security policies and advise on the security mechanisms that fulfill them.
Also, it stresses on identifying and evaluating current technologies and
assess their applicability to address individual and organizational needs.
